Who we are

BALLI LLC operates the MAKIQO Robocar app, the makiqo.com website, and the MAKIQO Academy. This policy explains how information is handled across those services.

MAKIQO Robocar app

The current MAKIQO Robocar app does not require an account, collect personal information, track users, use an advertising identifier, display advertising, or send app activity to MAKIQO servers.

Language, sound preference, obstacle safety distance, mission progress, and saved Code Lab projects are stored locally on the device. Removing the app may remove this data.

Local robot connection

The app communicates with MAKIQO Robocar hardware over the robot's local Wi-Fi network. Driving commands and sensor responses stay on that local connection and are not sent to an internet server by the app.

Website, Academy, and support

MAKIQO Academy uses a parent or guardian email address and a password to create an account, confirm the email, maintain an authenticated session, protect lesson access, and save course progress. Passwords are processed by our authentication provider and are not stored by MAKIQO as readable text. Account and security emails are separate from optional marketing.

You may separately choose to receive occasional MAKIQO product news and offers. This choice is optional, is not required for Academy access, and can be withdrawn from Academy email preferences or through the unsubscribe method included with marketing messages. We record the email address, consent time, consent source, and current subscription status.

If you contact support, we receive the email address and message content you choose to send and use it only to respond, troubleshoot, and maintain a reasonable support record.

Cloudflare may process standard technical request information, such as IP address, browser type, request time, and security logs, to deliver and protect the website. Supabase processes Academy authentication, membership, lesson progress, legal acceptance, and email preferences. Resend delivers Academy account emails and, only when permission is given, optional product emails. Cloudflare Email Routing forwards messages sent to support@makiqo.com to our support inbox.

No sale or sharing of personal information

We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use personal information for targeted advertising. The website does not currently use advertising cookies or behavioral analytics.

Children's privacy

The app does not ask children for a name, email address, location, photo, or similar personal information. Support contact should be managed by a parent or guardian for children under 13. Academy sign-in should use a parent or guardian email when the learner is under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete information associated with your email address. You may withdraw optional marketing consent at any time without losing Academy access. While signed in, you can directly change your password or cancel Academy membership from the profile page. The account email is fixed and cannot be changed from the profile. We retain account and support information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve requests, maintain security records, or meet legal obligations.
