About these terms
These Terms of Use apply to the makiqo.com website, the MAKIQO Robocar app, and MAKIQO Academy preview materials operated by BALLI LLC. By using these services, you agree to these terms. A parent or legal guardian should review them for users under 18.
Product and availability information
The website currently provides product information and learning previews only. It does not offer direct checkout or online purchasing. App availability, packaged contents, production appearance, and launch timing may change before orders open. Material changes will be reflected on the website.
Safe and responsible use
Use the robot on a clear, stable surface and follow all included safety, battery, assembly, charging, and age guidance. Keep hands, hair, clothing, and loose objects away from moving wheels. Raise the wheels during firmware or motor-direction testing. An adult should supervise assembly, charging, firmware updates, and use by children.
Software license
MAKIQO grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app and Academy materials with MAKIQO products for learning and personal use. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse the services except where applicable law expressly allows it. App Store distribution may also be subject to Apple's applicable terms.
Intellectual property
MAKIQO names, visual identity, site content, lesson materials, illustrations, software, and product designs are owned by BALLI LLC or used with permission. No ownership rights are transferred by viewing the website or using the app.
Service changes and availability
We may improve, update, suspend, or discontinue preview features as the product develops. We work to keep information accurate and services available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. Do not rely on the robot for emergency, safety-critical, medical, or industrial control.
Disclaimers and limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by law, preview services are provided "as is" and "as available." BALLI LLC is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses resulting from misuse, unauthorized modification, incompatible equipment, or failure to follow safety instructions. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
Governing law and updates
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. We may update these terms when the product or services change; the effective date above identifies the current version.
